What is Next Great Awakening Ministries (NGA)?
NGA is a ministry with partners across the nation and world that is contending for the next Great Awakening. The strategy involves establishing prayer and Bible training centers to fulfill the apostolic priorities of continual “prayer and the ministry of the Word” (Acts 6:4) in some of the most strategic communities on earth! Special focus is currently on the strategic Dearborn - Detroit corridor where Islam is making unprecedented gains in a major American metropolitan area. Prominent prophetic voices are also increasingly pointing to this region as the key to the Next Great Awakening.
NGA is also involved in equipping churches, student groups, and individual believers with intense Biblical teaching, and training in personal and corporate prayer (click here for information about hosting a School of Prayer).
Who is Joe Sazyc? Rev. Sazyc is known as a powerful teacher “with a prophetic edge.” He has a special gift that equips God’s people in effective prayer. Rev. Sazyc is currently the Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and is coordinating prayer efforts and helping to establish a Bible college in Dearborn, Michigan. An ordained minister of the Assemblies of God with over 25 years of pastoral and missionary experience, he is also on the faculty of Central Bible College-Michigan.
Over his career :
· The Intercessory Mission (IM-PACT) in Ann Arbor, Michigan was established: a prayer center that functions 24 straight hours every week involving over 20 churches. · Ann Arbor Assembly of God, where he was senior pastor for 13 years, saw attendance double and phase 1 of a multi-million dollar building project completed. · 7 new churches were planted in the Ann Arbor area reaching numerous ethnic and demographic groups · The Pastors’ Alliance for County Transformation (PACT) was founded, resulting in unprecedented Evangelical cooperation, city-wide rallies, backpack & school supply distribution, and a pastor’s prayer summit. · A handful of college students became one of the largest student organizations at the University of Michigan and in the national Chi Alpha movement. · Crusades, week-long church-based Bible Schools, and Bible School leadership seminars were held in various locations in the former Soviet Union. Rev. Sazyc is a student of awakenings who has visited and studied key revival centers in America and abroad. He regularly interacts with cutting-edge Christian leaders from around the world. He holds a MA in Biblical Literature from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with a concentration in Church Organization and Leadership.
How much does it cost to have Rev. Sazyc come to our fellowship?
There is no set fee to have Rev. Sazyc come to your church or group. Love offerings or an honorarium according to the ability of your organization are welcome. Large or small, your church or fellowship matters to God and to the next Great Awakening!
