“The core identity of the Church now and in eternity is to be a House of Prayer.” - Mike Bickle

It should be a “no-brainer.” A praying church is a vibrant church. A praying church is a growing church! I have seen this first hand as a local pastor for over 20 years. When we prayed, we grew: spiritually, numerically, and evangelistically. I am SO convinced of the power of prayer that I devoted
three years of my life and ministry on it full-time! Although I am pastoring again, I am still sharing this key with churches and God’s people across the nation and world.

Through an energetic, personable and non-intimidating style of teaching, we are seeing both individuals and entire churches awakened to the vitality that consistent personal and corporate prayer brings. There’s just something about an intensive and focused series of teachings on prayer that has ignited new passion and confidence in God’s people where our schools of prayer have been held. Because of the testimonies of answered prayer that are shared, we are also seeing people giving their lives to the Lord in our services.

The PrayerFire School of Prayer can be in a seminar format, revival format, or both. I am available for all day Saturday, Friday-Saturday meetings, Sunday evening-Tuesday or Wednesday meetings. I am available for a limited number of Sunday mornings. God’s people are hungry to learn about prayer!

What can I share with you?

Testimonies of Prayer
Whether it was in supernatural healings, a university impacted at its very core, miraculous financial provision, or such a massive outpouring upon  a church  that caused more conversions to Christ in several months than all years previous, I
have  personally seen the power of prayer at work. I will share these testimonies along with testimonies from history of the amazing impact of prayer.

Theology of Prayer
The Scriptures make it clear: prayer is effective and powerful! If your people learn to pray individually AND corporately, Kingdom power will be unleashed! However, people often don’t pray because they don’t know how to pray. Prayer also confuses them. They wonder, “If God is God, he’ll just do what he wants anyway.” Through the scriptures, I’ll help your people understand the  “whys” and “hows” of prayer.

Techniques for Joyful Prayer
Prayer doesn’t have to be a drag! Isaiah 56:7 says, “...these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.” Through the Scriptures I will show practical ideas for making both personal prayer and corporate prayer meetings the highlight of every believer’s life. For churches that are interested, I can hold several types of prayer meetings to model enjoyable corporate prayer.

Total Prayer!
Imprisoned and neglected in the spirits of thousands upon thousands of people in full-gospel churches is a power that can set entire cities ablaze with revival! Where permitted, I will encourage those with the gift of tongues to use this miraculous gift in their personal prayer times to see the miraculous released in their lives and church. I will also teach about prophetic prayer: Spirit-inspired prayer that can impact lives and communities. I’ll give opportunity for those who do not have these gifts to learn about them, lose their fears about them, and to receive them.

I work from several passages in the Scriptures, chief of which is the Lord’s Prayer. From that passage, I share the 5 R’s of prayer that Jesus taught us about.

Relationship
Ruling
Receiving
Releasing
Reinforcing

Or I may work from the great passage on prayer in Mark 11

The Productivity of Prayer
The Priority of Prayer
The Power of Prayer

There are other key passages in Scripture about prayer that I may launch from.

Through consultation with you, the pastor or leader, I will seek to come with the “curriculum” that will best meet the needs of your people and church.

Even if you are a church strong in prayer, this School will be a key to maintaining that strength in prayer. My experience has been that prayer is a fire that consistently needs to be fueled. Prayer U School of Prayer will uniquely recharge and encourage praying people. In fact, churches are beginning to schedule the Prayer U School of Prayer annually to keep that fire burning.

OTHER LEVELS OF TRAINING

ADVANCED INTERCESSORY TRAINING
It has been my privilege to meet some of the greatest intercessors and visit some of the greatest praying churches in the world. I have also had the opportunity to visit key prayer centers and houses of prayer at home and abroad. I have also helped established two prayer centers and taught on prayer at the Bible School level. The result has been a wealth of information and insight that I would love to share with those who want to impact their surroundings through intercession. We’ll hit topics such as spiritual warfare, prophetic prayer, Harp and Bowl Prayer, establishing a Tabernacle of David, and more.

PRAYER EVANGELISM
The Bible gives us directions on how to effectively share the gospel with those around us. At the center is prayer! What can be more powerful than a person actually experiencing the presence of God and answered prayer? Yet, there is an important sequence in regard to how we should communicate Christ with people. I can share the 4 steps Jesus gave us to most effectively share the Gospel with the lost.

Even though my ministry is more on the order of teaching than evangelism, people have come to Christ during our prayer schools. Why?  The stories I share are a powerful witness to the reality of Christ. Even more, the prayer that is often offered during the meetings has touched people at their deepest levels. I would be glad to work with you to have a specifically evangelistic-oriented service where the topic of prayer is the springboard for the sharing of the Gospel with the lost.

DOES PRAYER WORK?

Jim Cymbala
received a word from the Lord in his heart to make the prayer meeting THE priority in his church, The Brooklyn Tabernacle. The church grew from a handful of people to a congregation of 10,000 people in the heart of New York City that has so far planted 17 other churches in New York and across the nation.†

Roy Pointer
After extensive research of Baptist churches in the United Kingdom arrived at the conclusion that wherever there was positive growth, there was one recurring factor: they were all praying churches.‡

David Shibley
When asked to explain how the church in which he worked as Pastor for prayer grew from 13 to 11,000 people in 9 years, he replied, “The evangelistic program of our church is the daily prayer meeting. Every morning, Mondey through Friday, we meet at 5:00 AM to pray.”‡

David Yonghii Cho
Has mandated day and night prayer in his church for over 30 years. His church has become the largest single congregation in the world, and the church in his nation of South Korea has grown from 1.8% to 40.8% of the population in the twentieth century.‡
